Golf Signage

With new systems being developed by the R&A and the USGA, including key features designed to provide all golfers with a consistent measure of playing ability, it looks like a mini-boom time for the golf signage market as courses look to update their literature and way-markers. The most significant feature being the addition of a ‘slope rating’ that will help regular ‘bogey’ players determine how difficult a course is – that’s nothing to do with the ‘inclines or undulations’ of a course but more to do with how it rates on a scale of 55 to 155 for the ‘ordinary club golfer’.

Our previous blog post discussed the weather resistance of NovaDura signage and more recently our product range has had take up as an application in the golfing community with many ‘links & coastal’ courses subject to the elements. Nevertheless, they are not solely suited to just the UK market and overseas take up is growing in both UAE and Mediterranean regions due to the colour fastness of the products under the UV protection coatings.

NovaDura products are ideally suited to golf course signage with inherent durable media composition and specialist coatings. Coming with a 10 year warranty to atmospheric weathering – be it from harsh coastal climates with the associated sea spray or a harsh ‘Florida Sun’, both the ecoDURA HPL or primaDURA 3mm solid aluminium, they stand the test of time with minimum maintenance intervention.

Well suited to numerous other locations, NovaDura panels can be used for; entrance, clubhouse, course signage and bench furniture alike. Available in a range of thicknesses and materials that can be CNC or laser cut to shape to a maximum size of 2.9 x 1.5m
