primaDURA GLOW stove finished aluminium photoluminescent wayfinding signage is tested and approved at Warrington Exova to to BS 476-6:1989+A1:2009 (Class O) and BS 476-7 :1997 (Class 1)

A Class 1 classification is assigned by testing in accordance with BS 476 : Part 7 : 1997. This specifies a method of test for measuring the lateral spread of flame along the surface of a specimen of a product orientated in the vertical position. A Class 1
classification is the best of four performance levels defined within the Standard

A Class 0 classification is assigned to Class 1 products which have a fire propagation index (I) of not more than 12 and a sub-index (i1) of not more than 6 when tested in accordance with BS 476 : Part 6 : 1989. This test takes account of the combined effect
of factors such as the ignition characteristics, the amount and the rate of heat release and the thermal properties of the product in relation to their ability to accelerate the rate of fire growth.

Properties:

Delivering durability and photoluminescent performance to the highest specification, provides superior performance egress signage for residential, industrial and commercial signage or wayfinding applications.

Furthermore, the PSPA Class D photoluminescent coating is third party accredited, tested for Lloyd’s Register MED approval certification for both marine & offshore applications with respect to safety signs and egress route low level lighting.

Now you may think,’ if my fire sign is going up in smoke, I seriously don’t want to be in the building!’

However, if your basic fire sign has been obliterated quickly, that certainly impedes the emergency services access & evacuation methods.

primaDURA GLOW stays brighter and remains legible for longer, and is far more durable in any fire or power-outage situation. There has been increasing demand as local authorities and housing associations seek to improve the reliability, efficiency and performance of emergency egress & safety way guidance systems.
