Hooped Signs & Arched Outdoor Signage
Hooped signage refers to panels formed into a curved or arched shape rather than remaining flat, with the radius tailored to suit the design and application.
Hooped signs provide an alternative to standard flat or rectangular signage, using curved or arched panel forms to create a more distinctive and durable solution.
Panels can be manufactured with semi-circular tops or traditional Gothic arch profiles, depending on the design requirements. The curved structure adds rigidity, helping the signage perform more effectively in exposed outdoor environments.
Commonly used for parks, public realm schemes, entrance signage and wayfinding, hooped signs combine structural performance with a more considered architectural finish.

Hooped signs are manufactured from 12swg (1050A) aluminium panels, supported by 6063-T6 aluminium posts for strength and durability.
All components can be powder coated to achieve the required finish and long-term resistance to weathering and corrosion.
Suitable for external signage, wayfinding, entrance signage and public realm applications.
The curved panel design provides both visual and structural advantages:
Improved strength – curved panels are inherently more rigid than flat panels, helping resist wind loading, flexing and vibration, particularly in exposed or coastal environments.
Better weather performance – wind flows more efficiently around curved surfaces, reducing pressure and improving long-term durability.
Refined appearance – the arched form creates a cleaner, more integrated finish compared to flat panel signage, making it well suited to projects where design is as important as performance.
Hooped signage systems are designed for long-term outdoor use, combining robust aluminium construction with finishes that resist weathering, UV exposure and everyday wear.
The curved structure enhances durability, helping maintain structural integrity and appearance over time with minimal maintenance.
